  • Starting a bbs with Syncronet

    Hello, I am StaticGhost or Static, I am trying to build a bbs with Syncronet and keep having troubles, mainly with the ansi art splash screen. it works great in my normal terminal, but when accessed with netrunner or SyncTERM every line has a blank line after it causing the80x24 to become 80x48 and is really unviewable. I currently don't have it open to the world yet mainly for this reason. any ideas of what might fix it would be greatly appreciated.

    I used to have a Wildcat board back in the 90's in Victorville, Ca, and a wwiv in the Phoenix, Az areas, but I remember little to nothing about doing ASNI art if I ever knew any, I think I used free packs that were just general art most of the time or used the stock that came with it.

    Well, anyway, that is why I said no to being a sysop on your questions, I am an X-Sysop trying to relive my Glory days. <G> Oh, The board was named MysticCircle though I doubt anyone remembers it now.
