This week, I find that I am related to several famous German notables.

    Per wikitree.com, I am:

24 degrees from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - considered to be one of the greatest
poets and novelists of all time

26 degrees from Dietrich Bonhoeffer - imprisoned and executed for his part in a plot to
    overthrow Adolf Hitler.

28 degrees from Lucas Cranach - one of the most famous German painters of the Renaissance.

23 degrees from Stefanie Graf - famous women's tennis player

25 degrees from Wilhelm Grimm - German author and anthropologist, and the younger
brother of Jacob Grimm, of the literary duo the Brothers Grimm.

26 degrees from Fanny (Mendelssohn) Hensel - German pianist and composer.

28 degrees from Theodor Heuss - elected to the Reichstag, the German parliament

15 degrees from Alexander Mack - the leader and first minister of the Schwarzenau
    Brethren (or German Baptists

34 degrees from Carl Miele - one of the founders of the German household appliance
    industry

20 degrees from Nathan Rothschild - made a fortune in trading bills of exchange through
a banking enterprise begun in 1805.

25 degrees from Hermann Friedrich Albert von Ihering

24 degrees from Ferdinand von Zeppelin - a German general, and later inventor of the
first lighter-than-air rigid dirigible airship, known as the Zeppelin

It is always interesting to visit the past to see how we are related to each other. I have
some ancestors that were black, bank robbers, politicians, physicians, detectives,
    actors,
comedians. I guess that I am a collection of all of them, as we ALL are. WikiTree.com
helps me gather this information with their weekly newsletters.

I have researched the ancestry for many persons interested in their family history.
