• How do antioxidants fight cancer?

From Mike Dippel@999:1/1 to All on Thu Jan 8 21:36:02 2026
Antioxidants taken by supplement do not fight cancer. The way that our immune systems
fight cancer cells is by oxidizing them. An antioxidant would prevent that.

Every scientifically valid vitamin against cancer study show that taking  antioxidants  does
not fight cancer but leads to a greater chance of getting cancer.

How do radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeting therapies work
against cancer? By ultimately oxidizing cancer cells. Anything that prevents oxidation is
    likely to worsen treatment outcome.

The National Cancer Institute advised against taking antioxidants with cancer treatment.

There was a brief video with a little weiner dog, noting "Oh!!
Antioxidants help me live longer. I thought you said anti-dachshunds".
