    I am running Mystic and trying to do a:

    %RESCAN MYSTIC 30 days to a Synchronet system. I'm getting a message back
    that "MYSTIC 30 days" is not an area.

    Is this option something only available with Mystic systems? Or is
    Synchronet behind the times?

    That specific option is only a Mystic thing, yes. I believe Synchronet uses
    the RESCAN option as well, but doesn't use the "30 days" part. So if you did "%RESCAN MYSTIC" it would send you all messages posted in the message base on the Synchronet side, but I don't believe there are most specific options on Synchronet.

    I believe you want %RESCAN MYSTIC R=50 0r whatever you want for a number

    If its for this message area its FSX_MYS not MYSTIC I belive

    Every Areafix has its own syntax. Try sending a %HELP to find out what Synchronet is expecting.

    It's actually MYSTIC on the Fidonet I was also trying to add.

    Neither the "30 DAYS" or "R=50" are options for a Synchronet system to
    retrieve older messages.
