From BitGuy@21:2/128 to All on Sun Jul 20 17:37:19 2025
    Hi All,
I have installed teh mod BotCheck 1.2 on my Mystic 1.12 A48 board per the instructions and it seems to blow right past it when I connect to the BBS.
The script compiles ok, I inserted the botcheck1_2 in the prompt line required, restarted the mystic daemon to make sure it was all good and am running Python 2.7 successfully with other mods. Anyone have any ideas?

My bbs is: board.classicbbs.net port 9339 if someone wants to take a look at what is happening.

    Many thanks in advance.

You have it prepended with a pipe character and not an exclamation point. I can see it in my scrollback when I log in. You've got it as:

    <pipe>botcheck1_2 TE detected.

    when it should be:

    !botcheck1_2 TE detected.

per the install instructions. Although, I can't see the TE MCI code working without a pipe in front of it, but that's what the install instructions say. I'd try either

    !botcheck1_2 <pipe>TE detected.

or just remove the TE detected part entirely and just use !botcheck1_2 on that line.
