How does one run the ilc.lua? Does the ilc-send.lua need to be run separately?
I had a quick look at magichat.. I like that. Is it possible to connect
to another magichat server and have multiple BBSs connected? Where is the best place and port to connect?
When reading messages there isn't much room for the message subject but there is a lot of room for attribs. I wonder if the attribs and subject lines could be swapped so the subject line can go all the way across the screen at the bottom?

Yes, you should run ilc-send.lua from your login-stanza.lua (doscript("/path/to/ilc.lua") i think)

Yes the idea was to have one magichat server and many bbs connect to it (or gui client even). I don't have a magichat server running at
present, so you can run one yourself if you want.

I don't know the spec of the TZUTC kludge but looking at some
messages I have here they always have 4 digits. Looking at my own
kludges it says -800. Should that be -0800?
Actually that is wrong for the PDT time zone that I am in right now,
it should be -0700. Early in November we are going to fall back to
PST and then it will be -0800.

Hopefully I've fixed this now

A quick test of the TZUTC kludge..

So it was an hour out the other way haha. Hopefully fixed now (but probably not)

Can you have a look at your login-stanza.lua? That doesn't seem to
work and I haven't been able to stumble upon it.. :)
Looks better :)

I have it running now on IPv4 anyway at equinoxbbs.ddns.net on port
6667 if anyone would like to connect.
Is it possible to have the server listen on both IPv4 and IPv6 at the
same time?
I'll set this up shortly
./magichat 6667 true
will run on port 6667 with ipv6 enabled.
Also, if you want to add a motd to your server, add a motd.txt file to
the working directory.
I also wrote a magichat door so other systems could connect, and even wrote a web client but I think I lost that one. Oh there is a gui client too.
I was just at gitlab and grabbed magiterm and built it for my
desktop. I had a look at magichat client too but I don't see a way to
build it.
