  • Setting up Linux box.

    Greetings, current I run Mystic on a WIN10 32bit box. I am in the process of trying to set up a Linux (Debian 10 - 64bit) box with Mystic, HPT and FMAIL. I have been trying to get husky set up and have looked at several sites but I am still having a rough time getting FIDOCONFIG setup. I understand a lot of the stuff in the "template" but there are other area that have me confused. I am just looking for advice as to where to go to better educate myself in setting this up. Funny thing is I ran a TAG (DOS) bbs with Front Door, ALLFix, and IMAIL all under desqview and didn't have near the problems I am having with Husky... Of course turnign 60 probably isn't helping either. ;)

    There are docs for husky stuff in the shipped pre-built files you can access.
    I think there's also help files built in to many of the tools.
    I'm a bit time poor right now (sorry) but there will be others here than can help you if you have specific questions about a variable or specific config setting :)

    No worries Paul, I'm taking one line at a time since I have it set up on another box than the current BBS I can take my time. If/when I find something I can't figure out I'll give a shout out.
