• The Situation in the Middle East

It's clear that Israel has managed to strike a massive blow against Iran. Iran has been decapitated in the political, military, and scientific spheres.

The question is whether the country can recover before Israel definitively wins this war.

    Israel isn't finished yet.

It wants to completely destroy the facilities for making nuclear weapons, but for that, Israel needs American weapons and aircraft.

Trump will only be willing to provide and make those available if he is certain that the U.S. will not still end up at war with Iran or other countries.

That point seems to be almost reached. That's how hard Israel has struck in Iran.

Meanwhile, Iran is still managing to fire ballistic missiles at Israel. Last night, at least 11 Israeli civilians were killed. Iran is doing the same thing Russia is; it mainly attacks civilian targets. These are "soft" targets, easier to hit than military targets.

The sole intention is to cause fear among the population, but that policy has never worked, except in the Netherlands (the bombing of Rotterdam in WWII with the threat of repetition in Utrecht).

The fact that Iran hasn't even shot down a single Israeli aircraft clearly indicates how Iran's strategy has failed.

The question now is whether oil can continue to flow through the Strait of Hormuz. If Iran strikes there, it could still lead to a global energy crisis, and more countries will get involved in this war. There's also a chance that Saudi Arabia will have to get involved.
