    There are places that threaten resturants to conform to Islamic dietary rules.

    Then, not sure what the debate is. It is simply a method of slaughtering and prepareing animal meat for consumtion.

    It shouldn't be a threat to your religious practices at all.

    Sounds more like this has more to do with economics and the age old feud between India and Pakistan than religious freedom..
