On the receiving side you can't make the distinction if a system intentionally left out the CHRS kludge because the message only contained pure ascii. Or if the sending software never adds a CHRS kludge. So in a test area you can expect a comment about it. ;-)

But I think it's better to always add the CHRS kludge, when the software is capable, so things are clear.

I have changed the editor to ALWAYS post both Kludges.
