    Custard Based Rice Pudding

    Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
    -------- ------------ --------------------------------
    2/3 c Rice
    1 1/3 c Milk
    1/8 ts Salt
    3 1/2 tb Sugar
    1 tb Butter -- soft
    1 ts Vanilla
    2 Eggs
    1/3 c Raisins

    Cook rice according to package directions; drain it and rinse it with
    cold water.

    Combine milk, salt, sugar, butter, vanilla, and eggs with rice; beat
    well. Add raisins; mix lightly with fork. Grease a baking dish and
    pour mixture in. Bake at 350?F until it is set and a knife inserted
    in center comes out clean.
