Apple Bread

Title: Apple Bread

Yield: 1 Loaf
1/2 c Butter; softened
2/3 c Honey
2 Eggs
2 c Whole wheat pastry flour
1/4 ts Salt
1 1/2 ts Baking powder
2 tb Milk
3/4 c Walnuts or pecans; chopped
2 1/2 c Apples; unpeeled; coarsely
-chopped
Cream butter and honey. Add eggs, then flour, salt, baking powder, and
milk, adding nuts and apples last, and mix well. Pour into oiled 9x5"
loaf pan. Bake 1 hour at 350°F or until golden and a toothpick comes
out clean. Cool for 10 minutes in pan, then use a knife around edges
to loosen before removing from pan.
