My issue with age verification is.
How is the identifying documents being stored, how long past its initial use o
age verification is it being stored?
As the number of identity thefts is increasing it seems counter productive to increase the number of targets.
I don't know the answers to these questions, which is why this is also what bothers me about it. Knowing "IT Professionals" as I do, my guess would be
it is being stored in the most lazy/cheap way possible in order to be barely compliant, which means it is only a matter of time before it is leaked.
Also, knowing government as I do, they realize that this doubt will be a deterant, causing many to stop whatever behavior it is that they are trying
to control.
