Hundreds of people gathered at Ocean Beach in San Francisco on Saturday morning to protest the Trump administration by forming a massive human banner.

The banner read, "NO KING!" in reference to the "No Kings" protests taking place on Saturday across the country. The protests coincide with both President Donald Trump's birthday and his approximately $45 million military parade taking place in Washington,

Meanwhile, I've seen estimates between 5-10 million people turning out all over the USA at NO KINGS protests. The "NO KINGS" organizers specifically requested people don't protest in my city, since the annual Flag Day parade (the largest Flag Day parade in the USA) would be taking place. people who wanted to protest went to neighboring cities (Green Bay and Oshkosh), where the protests were peaceful.


I'm relatively certain more people turned out for our Flag Day Parade than turned out for Dear Leaders Big Beautiful Birthday ... bust? bomb? botch? bungle?



In other news, during the protests in LA, the LA Police department and LA Sheriff's department may have been filming a "Keystone Cops" reboot. LASD shot LAPD with rubber bullets, and LAPD teargassed LASD officers. (I believe there are scanner recordings of this, along with video)
