    I put an Ubuntu 20.04 server VM up in my proxmox cluster, built Synchronet, and tried exporting a couple of message areas from realitycheckBBS to subs.txt/Synchronet format, copied the subs.txt file to the VM and imported the message areas. They all look correct.

    Now, to make a snapshot. :)

    you have been running synchronet for over a decade and this is an accomplishment worthy of posting?

    I should probably try and update at some point, I have't even broached it since the GIT move, I'll probably get brave at some point.
