    So sad about their death and the way it (apparently) happened.

    All In The Family was a major prime time show during my childhood so of course I knew him from there and then all his films (especially This Is Spinal Tap, but he made many greats). He was a good man with an apparently very sick kid. Such a shame.

    He was responsible for so many wonderful films.

    i saw them on a show and the dad and son were there and they said the son was no longer on drugs. he looked fried. i think he never kicked drugs. he was hard wired for it. i heard a rumor that the parents were cutting the son off and that's what caused the incident.

    dunno, now i see that he was at a conan o'brien christmas party that day and acting badly. rob brought him to the party to keep and eye on him.

    he's facing the death pentalty. i think they're going to mental illness route for defense.
