    I was thinking that I'd definitely like to write my own NNTP-like
    protocol because why not. I love computer programming and also I want something that is simple to setup (setting up a news server shouldn't
    need to be something only a Usenet wizard can do).

    Anyway. Oneday I will reply to this message with details on my
    implementation and then set up a network.


    Just putting this out here for the future me to look at.


    Also, I was wondering. Is there anything you'd like in a news server,
    any features (just so I can know what the implementation would need).


    ....I was thinking of calling it tulip.
