I miss the HF radio since it die on me 2 years ago. I still trying to save enough money to get another one. I was using a diopole in the backyard. Anyway I hang on the 146.940 repeater in Austin Tx

Likely cheaper to fix what you have. What is it and what went wrong?

You can connect to us, crazy people in NV kd7fpk-r or kc7stw-r

mine times out here and there but I think the BBS and other stuff causes that.

Ran into a HAM buddy at the dealer today. We started chatting
about HF, and he says, "Come on out to the truck." Next thing
I know, I'm sitting there listening to stations from all
over the country on his Yaesu mobile rig.

One word: hooked! HF really is a whole different world!
Time to start planning my own setup!
