The AX.25 service is probably at about 80% completion, though I haven't worked on it in a month or so. I'll return to it within the next couple of months, I imagine. After that I'll need to flesh out the "command shell" type thing that AX.25 clients will see; it'll need to support various mail forwarding protocols used by different packet BBS software like F6FBB or the simple PBBS stuff built into many TNCs.

But yes, AX.25 support for Synchronet is coming ... someday.

Nowhere, at the moment. However I did post a reply to Deuce that gives a bit of a status update on that project, which should make its way to your BBS before long.

I hope JNOS and TNOS will be included. I currently run JNOS and SBBS on the same computer, including an AMPR.ORG "hamgate". Looking forward to testing
this out here.

The Packet BBS software can handle any over-the-air requirements once a
message is exchanged. SBBS wouldn't really need to but I guess it could
in the future. In other words, not require JNOS, et al.
