From MRO@VERT/BBSESINF to All on Tue Jul 29 14:26:37 2025
man i had the weirdest thing happen.

apparently thunderbird (which i dont use but had installed) launched itself
at 2am today and it had some begging banner like wikipedia.

This is when i was laying down and had the computer locked.

I have the update and everything disabled via taskmgr.
i keep a close eye on what is setup to start.

somehow this program was launched and then updated. timestamps are all
    02:15am

    WHEW!

When I had Internet service on my XP desktop I used TB for email

I don't have internet service on the Xp anymore, but both TB and Firefox occasionally remind me they need updating, which I can't do now.

Strange your getting asked about it when you have installed TB but don't use TB.

it's pretty strange. i check my processes on a regular basis and it's not loading anything. i have not had this happen again.
for my home email client i use claws.
