    So I'm on the latest Alpha A48.

    I've noticed since A47 that my welcome ansi's do not display when using .an1 .an2 .an3 ....

    Has something changed I'm just not seeing in the docs?

    Exactly this. Search the whatsnew.txt file for a section containing "scroller.1.ans" for the details. Note that (as mentioned in separate sections in the whatsnew) this applies to most files, not just display files.
