I'm trying to configure fsxNet in Mystic BBS. I checked out the videos on
PAUL (Avon) Youtube channel on how to connect to a Message Network (fsxNet)
but when I poll the address it doesn't send or receive any packets. I emailed the person who takes care of the Hub and he said that I have not configured
my session password. I followed Paul's (Avon) instructions exactly. I double checked everything. I correctly entered the TIC, FIX, PKT & BINKP passwords
but I don't see anywhere to enter a Session password. Sorry for the lack of knowledge on this subject but this is my first time setting up a BBS.

"Session password" refers to the BINKP password you said you already set.

The problem was I had the wrong entered the wrong HUB for my address.

FYI the guy that made those instructional videos is the guy you're trying to connect to. ;)

I got it figured out. Being a newb at this is a big learning experience. So much to learn. But I like the challenge and you learn from your mistakes.

While you're a newb at this, try /Q before you reply to a message. You can quote exactly what you're responding to and it makes it way easier for others to know what you're talking about. ;)

Unless you give up easily, and don't challenge yourself.. You'll find this an AMAZING hobby. Also, do it for yourself. Don't expect 10,000 callers or even 10 in a day. Enjoy it, set it up the way you want it.. and the callers will come.
